Aside from the Team Aims and Objectives, these are the skills and techniques I want to develop and improve in Semester A.
Individual Learning Outcomes
- To gain extensive experience and practice working technically on dialogue in Post-Production. This includes editing, cleaning (primarily through use of iZotope’s RX Audio Editor) and mixing the dialogue to an industry-standard calibre.
– This learning outcome will be assessed after completion of the project, through feedback from tutors, Viewfinder
Productions, peers and my own honest judgement, critically analysing the quality of dialogue throughout the entire project.
- To improve professional and interpersonal skills necessary to work on real world film sets, through collaboration and cooperation with an outsourced client, Viewfinder Productions.
– This will be examined after completion of the project, when I shall request feedback from Viewfinder Productions,
analysing my punctuality, communication, teamwork, set etiquette, technical and personal skills.
- To develop and enhance Location Sound recording techniques, such as booming techniques and planting microphones creatively .
– This learning outcome will be addressed during the shoot, where I intend on applying research to our processes, to improve the quality of our production sound.
